Notes on data changes

Here we list notes explaining important emissions changes for the country. ’' means that the following text only applies to the TP time series, while  means that it only applies to the CR scenario. Otherwise the note applies to both scenarios.

  • We have no new country reported data for Mexico, however we have fixed a bug in the GWP handling of BUR2 data leading to changes in non-CO2 data mostly for cumulative emissions and sectors with a high non-CO2 emissions share as agriculture and waste (CR time-series).
  • For 2022 the highest changes are in energy and cement CO2 and due to the inclusion of new third party data.
  • In the TP the most important changes come from the updated energy CO2 and cement CO2 data.
  • Changes in sectors 4 and 5 are due to the removal of FAOSTAT data (CR (5 only), TP).
