Notes on data changes

Here we list notes explaining important emissions changes for the country. ’' means that the following text only applies to the TP time series, while  means that it only applies to the CR scenario. Otherwise the note applies to both scenarios.

  • We have added CRF2024 data for New Zealand (not published on UNFCCC website).
  • In the CR scenario livestock CH4 emissions are higher for 2022 and cumulatively as the reported emissions have increased also for historical years. 2022 emissions changes in other sectors are due to CRF data / growth rates for 2022 differing from third party data used in v2.5.1.
  • For 1.B.2, CO2 the relative change is over 150% because EDGAR 8.0 shows a continuation of the downward trend of the last years, while CRF 2024 actually shows a steep increase.
  • The small emissions changes (in relation to total emissions) in the TP scenario are due to data updates and the replacement of extrapolated data with input data.

Changes by sector and gas

For each scenario and time frame the changes are displayed for all individual sectors and all individual gases. In the sector plot we use aggregate Kyoto GHGs in AR6GWP100. In the gas plot we usenational total emissions without LULUCF. ## country reported scenario
